Privacy Policy

Effective 11 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information AsiaPoker collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It applies to the AsiaPoker game on the web at game.asiapoker.ai and in our mobile apps (together, the "Game"), and to this website.

AsiaPoker is operated by AsiaPoker ("we", "us"). We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, and with other privacy laws that apply to you.

In short: we collect only what we need to run your account and the game. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't use third-party analytics or tracking. You can delete your account at any time.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us or that comes from your sign-in

  • Account identifier. A random ID we create when you first open the Game.
  • Display name. We assign one automatically, such as "Player-12345". You can change it, and it's shown to other players at your table.
  • Google or Apple sign-in. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address, a unique account ID from that provider, and (from Google) your first name, which we may use as your default display name. If you choose Apple's "Hide My Email", we receive only the relay address Apple gives us. We never receive your Google or Apple password.
  • Username and password. For accounts that use them, we store the username and a one-way hash of the password, never the password itself.
  • Messages to us. If you email us, we keep your email address and what you wrote so we can reply.

Information created when you play

  • Chip balance and chip transactions. Your balance, plus records of buy-ins, winnings, the free refill and any purchases.
  • Game history. The tables you played, the hands you were dealt, your actions and the results. These are used to show you your hand history and to keep the game fair.
  • Private tables. The tables you create, their settings, names and invite codes.
  • Purchases. If you buy chips or a subscription, the store (Apple App Store or Google Play) processes the payment. We receive a record of what you bought and a transaction reference, but never your card or payment details.

Technical information

  • Connection data. Your IP address, connection times and basic request details, recorded in server logs for security and troubleshooting.
  • Session tokens. The Game keeps sign-in tokens in your browser's local storage or your device's app storage, so that you stay signed in and your guest account stays on that device. We don't use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

2. How we use it

  • To create and run your account, sign you in, and keep your chips and history across devices.
  • To run games: seating you, dealing, settling hands, and showing results to the players at your table.
  • To give you free chips and to deliver any purchases you make.
  • To keep the Game secure and fair: preventing abuse, cheating and fraud, and fixing problems.
  • To respond when you contact us.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

We don't use your information for advertising, we don't sell it, and we don't make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.

3. What other players can see

At a table, other players see your display name, your chip stack, your actions, and any cards you show at showdown. Your email address and sign-in details are never shown to other players.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Game, and only for that purpose:

ProviderWhat forWhere
Amazon Web ServicesHosting, databases and server logsSydney, Australia
CloudflareWebsite delivery, network security and DNSGlobal network
Google"Sign in with Google", and Google Play purchases on AndroidUnited States and other countries
Apple"Sign in with Apple", and App Store purchases on iOSUnited States and other countries

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our players or others, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or sale. In that case this policy continues to apply to your information.

Some of these providers are outside Australia. Where your information is handled overseas, we take reasonable steps to make sure it's protected in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

5. How long we keep it

InformationHow long
Account and profileUntil you delete your account, plus 15 days (see section 6)
Public-table hand historyUp to 30 days
Private-table records and hand historyUp to 365 days after the table closes
Chip transaction recordsUp to 30 days
Sign-in sessions30 days from last use
Server logsUp to 7 days
Game performance logs (a random account number with hand results, no name or email)Up to 90 days
Emails to usAs long as needed to deal with your request

6. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time:

  • In the Game: go to Settings → Delete account.
  • By email: write to [email protected] from the email address linked to your account, or include your display name.

When you delete your account, it's closed straight away and can no longer be used to sign in or play. If it's linked to Google or Apple, signing in with it again within 15 days cancels the deletion. After 15 days your account is deleted for good, including your email address, Google or Apple sign-in links, login credentials, display name, hand-history list and leaderboard entries. Your chip balance is forfeited, because chips have no cash value.

Hand records from tables you played also form part of other players' game history. Your name in them is replaced with "Deleted player", and they're deleted at the end of the retention periods above. Chip records and game performance logs keep only a random account number until they expire. We may keep limited records for longer where the law requires it. See also our account deletion page.

7. Your choices and rights

  • Access and correction: you can see and change your display name in the Game. To ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or to correct it, email us.
  • Deletion: see section 6.
  • Complaints: if you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, contact us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're in Australia and still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au). If you live elsewhere, you may have similar rights under your local law.

8. Security

We encrypt data in transit, store passwords only as one-way hashes, limit access to the people and systems that need it, and use short-lived sign-in tokens. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you and the authorities about a serious breach where the law requires.

9. Age

The Game simulates casino-style gambling and is meant only for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date. If the changes are significant, we'll also tell you in the Game.
